Tactical Gear - gloves
Tactical gloves that form a part of police tactical gear may be made of leather, or of ballistic nylon. Hard knuckle gloves are available where the knuckles will be formed of hard polymer. In some models the hard portion may be covered by goatskin for soundproofing effect. Additional protection is also given to the tip of the middle fingers and index fingers. Other features of tactical gloves can be padding in certain portions to absorb perspiration. To enhance its functionality as a part of duty gear, some gloves taper on the dorsal side of the arm, instead of ending abruptly at the cuff.
